Bandung, Oh Bandung..
Live report by Ade - for Indonesia Segala
Friends, On Saturday, I kick off from Jakarta at 12pm directly from my office in West Jakarta. The Target is BANDUNG..
Why Should I Go Bandung??
There are reasons, but you will soon understand the reasons by reading the detail of my activities In Bandung.
Driving with a bit starve stomach as already at lunch time, I go to nearest Tol Entrance at Slipi West Jakarta. Four of us, with my sisters and brothers, planned to stop at one of rest area on the tol way to Bandung to eat our Lunch. The traffic is not bad and the speed at 100-120 km per hour.
We passed some rest area and decided to just eat lunch on Warung Nasi Ibu Imas in Kebon Kalapa area in Bandung. So, we let our stomach starve to death so we will enjoy the lunch at Ibu Imas.
In only about 2 hours riding from Jakarta, nearly to reach the padalarang exit, we change course instead of eating our lunch, we let our stomach more hungry by going to the main destination of going Bandung.
Whats our main destination?? Here are the detail of our journey:
Refill - Parfumme Store COLLECTOR at Paledang
So when we reached Pasteur Exit, we just go ahead and direct to Dago area and just turn right to Jalan Paledang where the shop open their business. Going in to a small road (gang kecil), our favorite car New CRV has to be more careful as some cars are also parking on the right and left side of the road.
After about 300meters, we found the shops COLLECTOR parfumme refill, so my sisters is getting off the car while bringing about 20plus parfumme bottles for re-fill. 20 bottles?? vary on the cc of the bottles.
Our favorite person on the shop that used to service us named Aming.
More then 3o0 ml vanilla parfume, Two 100ml Bvlgary Cappucino, Aqua, Champagne, Sexy Man, etc i cant even remember all of them but definetly that purchase is for ONE YEAR stock for our daily use.
Prices vary from IDR 25k for small bottle of 50ml to IDR 40k for 100ml bottle depend on what type of parfume youre purchase and how good your negotiation was. The quality off course depend on the the mixing of the person servicing you and the price. The combination of the parfume and alcohol should be good to have the BEST quality.
Total purchase for parfumme only is IDR 1.5million Total !! Use ur fingers to count how many bottles we purchase for one year stock, and the quality is 99% of the original parfume.
Me and my brothers feed our stomach with Batagor - Bandung special street food while waiting for Aming to re fill our bottles. We are on the shops for more than 1.5 hours and get all refilled.
We then go to Warung Nasi Ibu Imas in Kebon Kalapa Area..Our exit from the other side of Paledang street, and turn left and on the first x junction we turn left again all the way following the road and reach the Kebon Kalapa Area..the location we visited is right on the X junction, coz in that area there are two Warungs, Saturday, are filled with Jakartans so we ate on the X Junction location for our late lunch, Jalan Balonggede No. 38. Very amazing place where filled by people, probably half local people and half are from other area like Jakarta. All foods are put on the table from Toasted Chicken, Tempe, Empal (Fried Beef) etc.
We just call the servant to ask what we want and they re-fried the food again so serve hot and better.
One of the best thing in this Warung is the special chilli that is HOT. Four of us eat almost everything with only about IDR 80k or equal to about USD 8 only!! Below are the pictures of the foods:
