Rumah Makan Masakan Betawi "Berkah" di Jalan Jeruk Purut, sebelah Gedung Ratu Prabu (Jakarta) ini memang terkenal banget sop dagingnya. Sopnya terbuat dari potongan daging yang besar-besar, seukuran empal, berwarna kemerahan khas rempah-rempah. Empuk, dengan serat yang masih terlihat jelas. Kuahnya bening dengan tonjokan rasa merica dan pala yang terasa banget. Tanpa lemak berlebihan, tapi justru lemak ini yang bikin uenak. Kuahnya terbuat dari dari kaldu daging, bukan kaldu tulang. Aroma bawang daun segar, percikan jeruk nipis dan sesendok sambel membuat sop daging ini semakin mak nyuss disantap siang-siang..

Nah, yang satu ini semuanya bisa dibilang bener bener mantap..
Well, this one can be considered as very good!!
Empal Gentong..?
Meskipun namanya empal gentong, makanan ini lebih mirip atau semacam soto atau gulai daging atau jeroan sapi. Daging atau isi yang digunakan adalah usus, babat dan daging sapi yang dimaasak di dalam gentong tanah liat selama lebih dari 10 jam.
Pembeli bisa membeli dengan memilih isi daging saja atau campur lalu akan disiram kuah. Empal gentong disajikan dengan nasi atau lontong.
Nasi Jamblang, merupakan nasi yang dibungkus dengan daun jati, plus lauk pauk teman temannya seperti sambal goreng, sayur tahu, tempe goreng, telur dadar, perkede, empal dan lain lain.
Tahu Gejrot adalah tahu yang dipotong kecil kecil disajikan di atas piring tanah liat, disajikan dengan bumbu ulek gula merah, cabe, bawang merah dan bawang putih. Tahu yang digunakan adalah semacam Tahu Sumedang tapi isinya kosong..
Selain ketiga menu diatas, resto ini juga menyajikan masakan lain seperti Mie Kocok, Nasi Lengko, Sate Kalong dan lain lain.

The Kepiting Lada Hitam a.k.a Crab with Black Pepper Sauce has a very nice heartly taste and more of the meat.

Small & Cozy Resturant: Sazu Resto Tomang
Here are the summary of my culinary experiences in Sazu Resto.
First Impression!! Very nice and good place to visit, see below so nice and well organized coloring inside the restaurant!!
The FOODs?
That day I ordered Oxtail Soup, and my lunch "partner" ordered Chicken Katsu.
Oxtail Soup overall point is 8+, the ingredient is specials and can tasted till the last bite. Not quite tender, just need probably half more minute boiling the oxtail. But recommended to try at your soonest!!
Chicken Katsu! After all this time, finally I can find the best chicken katsu after Hoka hoka Bento!! Why??
first of all, I only ate Chicken katsu from HHB so since Sazu Resto's Chicken Katsu beat HHB Katsu, then this Katsu I would say the BEST Chicken Katsu I ever ate!! point 9 for the katsu!! and cheaper than HHB as well.
There are many more on the menu list from Fried Rice, Noodles etc. and based on life experience of my partner, the food in this resto is all very NICE (remember, meaning that the point is above nice!!)

Jalan Anggrek Nelly Murni 100m from fly over tomang, right after Wisma Slipi before the fly over turn left heading to Kemanggisan! (NOT turn left below the fly over - thats a freeway to Kebon Jeruk!)

I have specifically go to Pondok Indah Mall 1 to get this report for foodlovers.
Please remember that this is really based on my tongue of reference, you might find it differently.
Overall, the place are nice at the corner of PIM 1 accross Bakmi GM.
We order the following:
1. Fettucini Black Pepper Steak + Rp 87k
2. Chicken wings black pepper + Rp 23k
3. Spaghetti black pepper + Rp 40k
4. Orange Juice and Ice Lemon Tea for the beverages.
For my self, the steak is not recommended, why? seems that the steak is not their expertise. Look at the restaurant name, Spaghetti!!
Wrong choice!
Not have a bad taste, but below expectation remembering the price of the steak..The meat overal is ok but taste plain, like no ingredient but the black pepper sauce provided.
Chicken wings with black pepper sause is nice, but nothing special.
Spaghetti black pepper is more than NICE! compare to regular sphagetti in Pizza Hut, this one is better, or have to say much better, the toppings of black pepper beef tasty not plain and overal Spaghetti House is the house of spaghetti!
